I used it to rid my workshop of birds trying to nest inside. It could have hung from the rafter but I chose to weight it with sand and set it on the attic flooring. No luck at all with that! I even tried moving it to different places in the garden, but the doves and smaller birds just ignore it. My daughter brought up a good point.
