Contrac 4lb Blox Rodenticide Mouse Control pail
Contrac All-weather Blox Rodenticide is a single feeding Rat and Mouse bait. It is the idea blend of food grade ingredients and low wax to yield a highly palatable, weatherable bait that is very attractive to rodents. Secondary poisoning is very minimal with Contrac and an antidote to the poison (vitamin K1) is readily available. The entomologists at ePestSolutions recommend placing the blox in tamper resistant bait stations to protect the bait from non-target animals such as dogs and cats. Active Ingredient: Bromadiolone * Available in Economical 4 lb and 18 lb pail * Enough bait blocks to kill hundreds of rats and mice * Each block has a hole in it to anchor into a bait station The result is a highly palatable, yet weatherable, bait that works well in wet and dry conditions. # Rodents can consume a lethal dose in just one feeding. Bait shyness is not a problem with CONTRAC because mortality occurs a few days after bait is consumed. # CONTRAC is also less toxic to non-target animals, in both primary and secondary poisoning situations, than other single-feeding anticoagulants. # The antidote, Vitamin K1, is readily available and there is a time factor for treatment. # For ease of use, a hole in the center of the BLOX lets technicians place it on bait securing rods in tamper-resistant bait stations, or nail or wire the BLOX in place. Pre-measured CONTRAC BLOX come in the popular-sized BLOX (1 oz., 28g, 15g) which work well placed in tight locations, nailed to rafters or ceilings, or in Bell's tamper-resistant bait stations.

This bait can be hidden in feeders on a small spike or just left out in the open if it's away from other pets and kids that may get at it. The rats are drawn to it and die, it's that simple. Luckily they tend to take the bait away and die elsewhere, but I know they're dead. Works great, highly recommend. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Knocks 'em Out By William Fish Works as advertised. I researched and it's clear there are several effective bait blocks on the market. However, cannot complain about the great results with Contrac. I have not done a precise side by side although I have used both Tom Cat & Contrac at the same time in two different parts of my well rat-populated Florida property, although I mostly relied on the Contrac blox The population completely collapsed within about a week. Naturally there were a few dead "stinkers" that I never found, but most apparently died outside the structures. The bait was eagerly eaten every time I placed it in active areas. When the bait stopped being eaten, I knew the rats were all gone. That was 6 weeks ago and have not heard or seen a single rat yet. However, I will place some more this week to nip any possible members of a new generation. Highly recomended. See all 2 customer reviews...
