I bought six of these traps. Bait was taken from all of them, I decided to camp with a video camera to see what was going on, I was shocked. What does it take to set one of these from? Of course I threw away all these traps. At least they were cheap! 8 of 8 people found this review helpful. DO NOT BUY this article! By Neal Freeman Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2QUV9A8LZM2IC These traps are not effective and do not kill MICE. I had two baited with peanut butter and every morning for a week discovered the bait away. Then I set up a camera and recorded Mr. Mouse in action that you see in the video. The next night I took a piece of cheese and glued the way in the back of the trap. This caught the mouse, yes, but only in the tail. He was unhurt and spent the rest of the night chewing this plastic trap into shreds The next morning he was still caught but plenty alive and I had to pick up the wrecked trap with the live mouse in it, take him outside, and open the thing with my foot so he could run away. NOT RECOMMENDED. Go for the cheaper (and much more effective) standard wood/wire traps. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful. Great mouse feeder... awful trap By Keith Faulkner I have been using this product for about a week; have not caught a single mouse. I have tried everything just to get this trap to work. I even got suckered into buying that mouse attractant gel this company sells. They eat it; but it doesn't set off the trap. I've tried peanut butter, cheese, bread, whatever; the mice eat it and the trap stays set. I've pushed this stuff as far back into this trap as possible and the mice still don't set it off. Do yourself a favor; save some money and go with the classic Victor trap.
