Hursh, although the description says you do not have to work, I've found that peanut butter works well for mice and salami works well for shrews. Spread a little bait in ramps appears to improve efficiency. In addition, the description is not entirely clear that this is a live trap (which I prefer, but can not). As mentioned, you could end up with more of a bug in the trap at once. It is easy to carry the trap of an open field or wooded area to set the bit furbazoids free. Large items, please do not use peanut butter! By Lucas K. This is a great trick, it works well. We have had good luck with that. It is easy to use, cleanse and restore. It 'better to clarify that what comes out, please DO NOT use peanut butter. Peanut butter is very sticky and can get stuck in the throats of mice or rats. Rodents are not able to vomit or burp, and when you eat peanut butter sticks often. This can cause them to choke and die then. If we are human beings and get to drop, do not wan't to kill them with our bait. Good bait choices include crackers, cinnamon or honey, peanuts, biscuits (without chocolate), sunflower seeds and birds, too. Its nice to see so many people choose to be human! He worked at first, but then failed - a review of "Tin Cat" by Pam Tee We bought this mouse receiver last year when we were suddenly inundated with tenants in the winter in the cellar. At first trap has done a great job, but then just petered out on us and stopped working. With articles like this is hard to say where the error, so we give three stars, although we had more luck with Wood Stream Havahart Mouse Trap. Three stars.
