This is the most important rule to ensure success when it comes to mouse trapping. Place your trap near high rodent activity areas based on thorough inspections. Spacing traps evenly every 10 feet may appear visually as “thorough coverage and protection” of the room. However, such placements make little sense if the majority of mouse activity is actually located in only a small corner of the room behind clutter. Importance of the First Night Statistics show that more mice are trapped on the first night than on any other night. After three or four nights of trapping, the catch may drop to zero. For this reason, it is essential to use a large number of traps initially. Offer Multiple Bait Choices When many rodents are involved, different types of baits should be used. Individuals in a rodent population forage for different types of food. Therefore, it pays to divide the traps up and bait some percentage with meats such as bacon bits, some with peanut butter smudges, and some with nesting material like dental floss. Bait that matches what the rodents are currently feeding on should also be used (i.e. potato chips). Monitor Activity Check traps regularly and continue to trap until signs of rodent activity dissipate. Always Wear Gloves Human odors on traps are not likely to deter mice as our odors are present on the various objects mice investigate and consume. Moreover, the odors associated with human touch only last for a few hours. However, for personal hygiene and biohazard awareness, disposable gloves should always be worn when installing or recovering a mouse trap.

The use of electronic mousetrap but Victor can not if you check it every day with the mouse would be red and you threw it ended right now, is cheap. And with two of these traps, one for the main floor and an update for the attic. They were only a few days, and they are great, both caught mice and could not be happier with a product. Now I can be corrected for a week or two off and be the problem. I hope to update this review again and see how they work in the long term, but until now a product of the highest level. March 2011 and now a unit no longer works the other is still doing its job. 17 of 18 customers found this review helpful. Multi-killer batteries of F. Butler is not known whether rats visited the electronic mouse trap, but if they did, the batteries probably had already been exhausted and it shocked the visitors could not afford to keep the installation of new batteries to give more time to see if I could kill anthing other than the batteries. What might work better as a plug-in, if available. We had high hopes but were disappointed and returned to the point. 15 of 16 people found this review helpful. Incredibly efficient and humane! To fair_deal_guy have been using this trick a little over a month, and I'm exhausted. Not only is it easy to configure and control, the results are quite surprising. The rats seem unable to resist temptation, and the brilliant design of the trap ensures that once they come not to leave. The little pests are eliminated from a human fast, painless e. No problem, no problem. In my opinion, people have designed a Victor mousetrap much better! View all 89 comments ...
