Evict rats, mice, cockroaches, spiders, scorpions and other pests from rooms large and small within two weeks with this easy-to-use ultrasonic pest repeller from Black & Decker. The unit emits ultrasonic sounds pests can’t stand. A 100- percent Duty Cycle means constant sound so, once they’re gone, critters get no chance to come back. The unit works by disrupting pests' nervous systems, affecting both feeding and communication. The frequency ranges from 26 to 74 KHz at 105 decibels in a constant fluctuation so pests can’t adapt to the constantly changing array of complex ultrasonic and sonic sounds. SAFE for use around humans, dogs, cats, birds and fish, the repeller should be kept well away from pet tarantulas, mice, hamsters, gerbils and rabbits. User-friendly Controls let you adjust settings on unit's back to repel specific pests. The unit works in extra large rooms, operating from any flat surface with better results achieved by moving the unit to different locations. Continue use once pests leave. The purchase includes 120V AC adapter.

From the large electronic pest repeller that I used in my hunting camp (in the middle of the forest), and in my barn. Units are on timers and set at maximum power for rodents. I use multiple devices in the barn because of its size and in every room in hunting camp. I will stop when I'm there. Before using these electronic repellents consistantly I had problems with rodents (mice and rats), resulting in buildings, especially in winter. I have no problems with mice or rats. I had previously tried the smaller units with limited success. Do not waste your money on small, connected directly in units of rodents, is simply not strong enough. You need this Full size XL UNIT set to "rodent" and "strong" to work effectively, so you want to turn them off when you are there. Can I use timers to help keep the rodents' get used to the noise "(if this happens) Since we do not have cockroaches everywhere, I think it works for them. 64 of 67 people found this review helpful. Can You Hear Me Now Dr.Scooter Maybe this works? -.. I've been running a war with the local raccoons and squirrels Every winter they invade our attic, which is large and irregular in shape and in fact can not be sealed I used live traps and caught a bunch (mostly raccoons) and taken across the river in Missouri an area of wildlife that can not be returned. BUT, there is always more to take its place, location, location, location. Once the raccoons have changed their teams through thick and thin (good mother). I tried using different repellents with little effect. I did not expect this to work and is not 100%, but it was a great improvement. When I first arrived I directed my cats for a test (nice guy) They were not happy, but not quite leave the area. I sat in the attic in the fall and just leave it. I'm going in different directions and purpose from time to time. The good news is that no one has set up housekeeping at the moment. In late February, early March, cousin of the raccoon give birth so that "maybe" will not run a nursery in years. Before this year, he moved to raccoons in the attic in the late autumn / winter. Sometimes it would be "turf wars" can scare them, but would return. So far, the attackers were just squirrels, but does not seem to be. Seems to have a look, but choose to leave what has been an improvement for sure, but again not a 100%. Now the bad, making the sound. It is really strong, but can be clearly heard in the living room, bedroom (just a bit) and most of the above depending on the lens, it just depends on the location. I leave it all the time, so the sound is not good to be a little annoying, but the critters are much worse again, my cats, in true form could care less (so it's kind of good, we are not trying to run them from above), but I think it makes enough noise in the attic to be a plague of vermin. 36 of 37 people found the following review helpful. Works well in Atlanta! By Victor Johnson, I read some negative reviews here and they do not look particularly convincing. We had problems in our attic with flying squirrels, and I actually saw them a few times so I know what it was. They drove me crazy and my wife walk inside of the roof and chewed through walls. It was one of the most stressful experiences in our house. Nothing worked, and one time I locked a creature from the roof by patching a hole so we had a terrible odor for one month until dry. Finally I tried traps, sprays, etc., I have an outlet in the attic and bought the B & D unit in the local store. From the first day for the last six months is nothing but a miracle to our attic. Less than $ 40 bought us a quiet home. I know o.
