Place as many of these as you can. Place traps to catch the mice, place peppermint oil on cotton balls in other locations around the house. Most importantly find the entry points and seal them, stuff holes with steel wool and seal the edges or plaster over if possible. I put it in my garage and in a week all of the rodents were gone from my home.
