Terad3 Blox Kills Rats and Mice
New Premier Formulation with Vitamin D3 TERAD3 BLOX, Bell's newest rodenticide, expertly combines the most recent advancements in bait formulation to yield a highly weatherable BLOX with the low hazard benefits of the active ingredient, Vitamin D3. After years of researching the most effective formulation for housing this unique active ingredient, Bell scientists have found the perfect match - a denser, tightly compacted 1-oz. extruded BLOX with superb durability and weatherability. Incorporating an advanced preservation system, TERAD3 BLOX is mold and moisture resistant. Its high melting point keeps the bait stable in temperatures as high as 200 degrees F. Equally outstanding is the bait's palatability. TERAD3 also has a recognized stop-feed action, reducing the need for extensive and continued bait. Ultimately this results in lower total bait consumption with greater cost savings. TERAD3 BLOX with Vitamin D3 kills anticoagulant-resistant rats and mice yet substantially reduces the risk of secondary poisoning. It also poses low toxicity to birds. With BLOX, bait translocation is also reduced. TERAD3 BLOX has a broad label which makes it an excellent choice for controlling rodents at agricultural and animal production facilities, warehousing and food processing plants, as well as for commercial and residential accounts. Excellent Palatability Substantially Reduced Risk of Secondary Poisoning Low Toxicity to Bird Stop-feed Action Kills Anticoagulant Resistant Rats and Mice

I havn't had any hits yet, but I can tell anything that steps on this will not be stepping off. Solid product and has retained its stickyness since I bought them. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Excellent Mouse Feeder - Updated with Success (Changed from One Star to Four) By Dan -- Update 25 FEB 2012This trap just redeemed itself. I tried to make a home made bucket trap but I kept the d-con trap out on the counter. This time (and 100% on accident) the bait in the d-con trap had become stuck to the glue strip inside the trap. The mouse triggered the trap when it pulled on the piece of dried out peanut butter. The best part is I got to see it happen. I was on stakeout after the mouse had fallen into but somehow gotten out of my bucket trap. I wanted to try to see how he was getting out or even if he was falling in. I was surprised to hear the trap snap closed after writing the d-con trap off as a waste of money. The d-con trap appeared to kill the mouse instantly.I've baited a the remaining traps so that a solid piece of bait is stuck to the glue inside the trap. Now we'll see if he had any friends.--This device seems to be good for feeding mice but not good for trapping or killing them.We found out about our mouse after we noticed a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup left over from Halloween had been dragged across our kitchen counter and then chewed open and partially eaten. I bought 6 D-Con Quick Kill Glue Traps from a local grocery store and put a dollop of peanut butter in each one. The next morning I found a second chewed peanut butter cup. My initial thought was that the mouse preferred the peanut butter cups to actual peanut butter. I looked in the traps and saw that two traps had been cleaned out. One of the traps even had teeth marks near the release mechanism. The next night I baited the centers of the traps with peanut butter cup fragments. At this point I had a good idea of where the mouse was coming from. About one hour after baiting the traps I checked the trap closest to the point that I thought the mouse was climbing onto the counter (to the left of our stove). The bait was gone. I added another peanut butter cup fragment to the trap and then sat just outside the kitchen with a view of the trap. After about 30 minutes I saw a small gray mouse silently dart into the trap and then disappear behind the stove. I went to look at the trap and sure enough it was empty.Either these traps are stunningly worthless or the mouse in my kitchen is a secret ninja warrior. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Totally worthless By T. Bramwell Completely worthless product. Traditional spring traps work far better. During my infestation, I killed 14 mice with traditional traps, another dozen qith d-CON bait (Those worked great) and jack-squat-nothing with these ridiculous things. Look elsewhere. Wang In this suburban neighborhood in Connecticut, life is a constant struggle for the amateur gardener. Between the deers and the racoons, the chipmunks and the ground squirrels, it is a rare treat when a produce actually survives the pests and reaches the dinner table.Over the years, I have learned to adopt pest-resistant plants, but one cannot live on chili peppers alone. In particular, I like garden-fresh tomatoes. Unfortunately, the chipmunks share this affinity, and my garden ends up littered with dozens of large beautifully ripe heirloom tomatoes, half-eaten and covered with ants.I tried traps, but after one success, the chipmunks figured out how to get at the peanut butter without getting caught. A month ago, I finally had enough and, overcoming my aversion toward toxic solutions, ordered this big pail of rodenticide. My property sits on half-an-acre of land, with a mixture of lawn and bushes. A fairly liberal distribution of the baits consumes around 2-3 lbs. At first, the chipmunk population seems quite unaffected. I still see them daily playing just outside the windows. Once when I works in the garden, a baby even crawls within 3 feet, totally oblivious to the rightful owner of the tasty fruits. Just as I begin to despair, I notice that the blue blocks have disappeared from where I place them. Energized with renewed hope, I re-applied the rodenticide. This time, they are consumed even more quickly, with debris strewn over the usual chipmunk playground. It has been two days since I last see a chipmunk. I am hopeful...========================== Added 10/10/2011 ==========================I have since applied this rodenticide a third time. It is very popular with the chipmunks and is gone within days. The problem is that the toxicity seems very low, at least to chipmunks. Many of them are sampling this delicious treat again and again. Ten minutes ago, I just startled one little fellow munching on a chunk of the rodenticide near my front door and saw him scurried away, leaving a trail of blue-green crumbs. Although, to the manufacturer's defense, these Connecticut chipmunks are tough. I put out a traditional mouse trap on the deck. The next day, the peanut butter was gone and the trap was no longer armed, but not a trace of chipmunks was in sight. See all 1 customer reviews...
Advanced Rat, Mouse and Spider Repeller - Whole House
This repeller combines two systems: Electro-Magnetic Interference and Ultrasonic noise Ultrasound is a loud noise at a high frequency: it's generally too high for humans and domestic pets to hear, but is thought to be audible to most rodents. We imagine that, for a mouse, it's like having a smoke alarm going off constantly. Whenever electricity passes through a wire, an electromagnetic field is created: it has been suggested that electromagnetic fields create an environment where rodents are less likely to nest. Rodents are likely to move quickly away from a house where they cannot nest. If the rodents have already built a nest in your house, they are unlikely to desert their young until they are old enough to move. Fortunately, rodents mature quickly and the babies will be fully grown within a month. If you suspect that there is a nest in your house you can speed up the removal process with traps, but remember that traps alone do not provide a long-term solution: the problem with traps and poisons is that they rely on heavily-scented bait that may have the unwanted effect of attracting pests into your house. Plug the device in either in the kitchen or alternatively where you see most rodent activity. Ensure that all food that the rodents can eat or that is attracting them into the house is in tins or ideally air-tight containers.

Works better than any other electronic repellent we've tried By Mac4Life After not having much luck with electronic bug/spider repellers, we had pretty much given up. Granted, our problem wasn't HUGE, but still waking up in the morning and having Mr. Spider waiting for you in your living room was not fun at all. Being on a first floor apartment, we noticed the big guys wandering into the house mostly in the spring and fall, more so in the autumn months. This year, the size of these spiders was unbearable. I wouldn't say I have a phobia, but the fear is large enough where for me, it was time to invest in something worth it. Again, nothing like your heart rate spiking when you turn the light on and are looking a those evil creatures. So, I did some research and found that the company who manufactures these repellers are based in the UK, where spider problems are definitely evident. So after reading as many reviews as I could to see if these were worth the $50 USD, I determined that it was worth a shot. Our apartment is only about 1200 sq ft, and these claimed to take care of a two-story home at around 2000 sq ft. The first week, I will admit, we noticed no difference. Spiders were still found at certain times all around the apartment, mainly in the living room, kitchen, and guest bathroom.HOWEVER, after letting this thing do its job for a couple weeks, we came to a realization. After installing the device, we noticed that the spiders we found weren't scurrying like they normally did when we got close. It was almost as if they were paralyzed. What we think is that the spiders during the first week of the device being plugged in were spiders that originally were hanging out and hiding in our home and trying to get away from the horrible noise (you can press a button to hear what the disgusting creatures are hearing) that was constantly sounding. We have had the Advanced Rat, Mouse and Spider Repeller for about three months now and since that first week, we have virtually had no problems ANYWHERE in our home. Sure, once in a while, a spider will try to get in when I open the front door, but as soon as the door is opened, it's like the little critter can hear the noise and he ends up scurrying the other way. I have recommended this product to anyone I know who has mentioned having the problem my fiancé and I experienced a few months back. I absolutely recommend this to anyone with the issue. Good luck to you all! See all 1 customer reviews...

Catchmaster 72MB Peanut Butter Scent Mouse / Insect Glue Boards 72 count Box
Catchmaster glue boards are non-poisonous mouse and insect glue traps with a Peanut Butter Fragrance.(Better then banana and bubble gum) Great for trapping mice, fruit flies, grain moths, cockroaches, crickets and other insects. (WILL NOT WORK FOR RATS! ) Catchmaster glue boards can lie completely flat like a sheet, or you can fold them to form a square box that protects the glue from falling objects and dust. Great for use in homes, restaurants, bars, offices, etc. Glue Boards are an excellent choice for the capture of mice, rats, and other small rodents and insects in the home. With no poisons, rodenticides, or pesticides, these glue boards use a special adhesive type of glue scented with peanut butter to stop rodents in their tracks. When it comes to pest glue boards, Catchmaster has been called "the Duracell of Glues" as compared to competitors' glues that can become hard and rubbery after 30 to 90 days. The glue in Catchmaster glue traps are effective for at least one year and are not toxic to people or pets. They also contain no oil like other glue board products, as oil mixes with the body chemistry of the rodent allowing for escape. The low profile of these glue boards allows for easy placement of traps. Glue boards may be used as a stand alone treatment measure for rodents or as an additional tool to baiting. If you know the rodents running paths, place a Catchmaster Glue Board wherever rodent have been seen to travel, ideally close to the wall in places not readily accessible to pets and children. If by chance a pet or non-targeted animal gets stuck to the glue trap, household vegetable oil may be applied for painless release.

Most helpful customer reviews 4 of 5 people found the following review helpful. A better glue board all around By Book Vamp I bought this because the ones they sell in the stores around here don't have enough glue to make even bugs stick to it. I tried contacting Orkin to see if they would sell some of their glue boards but they don't. This is the best for catching bugs and mice. I found the glue to be very sticky, even when the box it shipped in came to me absolutely drenched. I thought the boards may not work if they were damp and I was wrong. They work great. I have had this product placed carefully around my home since I have a small child and the amount they catch is wonderful. It does have a slight peanut aroma. It doesn't smell like peanut butter exactly just a little like nuts. I guess it doesn't matter what I smell as long as it attracts the critters around my home. Oh and on a side note it does trap snakes as I had the unfortunate pleasure of taking one of these traps out of my storage shed with a 3 foot snake stuck on it. I'm sure it was a sight to see me alternately screaming and jumping with bbq tongs stuck to a board with a live snake on it. But it does work and I highly recommend this board to my family and friends. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Works on mice and flying squirrels By DB I used to be a wildlife biologist, now I'm just a guy with mice in the garage and flying squirrels in the attic. These glue boards worked as advertised. They smell like peanut butter, but I added a dab of my own - problem solved in a day or two. I tried snap traps previously for the squirrels, but the little buggers ate the peanut butter and left the trap. These boards are a good tool to have in the tool box and no worries about some kid getting hurt. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Mice problem out of sight out of mind with this... By M. D. You put it in a corner away from view (customers view AND my view!) and forget about it, no noise/sound, no smell, no poison to deal with, no bate at all to deal with...it just works. They crawl in and its all over in a flash. Don't have to touch them, just pour out remains. Makes a hard thing to do as easy as it could possibly be so definately consider this product. Whats worse then the smell of coyote urine??? It drove my dog nuts and my girlfriend hated the smell.ALAS, I found Ecovations Mouse repel! They are fairly strong (as far as plastics go). They hold the bait blocks securely and they won't fall out even when the station is shaken. I have them outside in full sun and will see how they hold up. The other portion that I am watching is the hinge as it is integrated part of the plastic. I fully expect to get several years of use out of these boxes. See all 1 customer reviews...

By Kent We live in the Colorado Mountains and I have three Rat Zappers and keep them set all the time in my garage. Every few days I catch a field mouse. Just shake the Zapper and the mouse falls into the trash barrel, put a few pieces of dry dog food into it and it's all set again. I originally bought them because I was having trouble with pack rats. They would crawl under the hood of my cars and eat the electrical wires, cost a lot of dough to get them repaired. I put a rat zapper under the hood and caught about five of these destructive devils over a period of three months. In the garage they would wreck havoc, into everything, and they aren't house broken either, what a mess!! I haven't caught or seen evidence of them being around now for six months. I hope they are extinct on my property now, but I'm sure they might come around again, but I'll be ready to send them off to rodent heaven it they do. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Wow... that was a fast and easy end to our rat problem! By Alise Spence We had a couple of rats in the trees around our house and over our deck and pool which was very creepy. We also have dogs and cats who are outside during the day so we did not want to use poison and trapping seemed like it would be slow, laborious and not very effective for getting rid of multiple rats - so I was hopeful the Rat Zapper could help us out.Sure enough... a little Fancy Feast dry cat food tucked in at the back of the trap did the trick. I did as the instructions suggested and set out food, but did not turn it on the first night. In the morning the food was gone. She came back the second night for more and, well, I have to assume it was a quick death. I reloaded the third night and found a male had come by for a snack. What a great little contraption! 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. works great, then stops working By Gloria G. Cole Ive had my rat zappers (2) for about 3 years. They worked great until now. Suddenly both stopped working at the same time. The top light flashes -- all systems go, but in the morning the bait is gone, the 'rodent present' light is flashing, but no dead mouse. I use Purina dog chow & have cleaned the traps several times according to the manufacturer's instructions, and changed to fresh batteries. I use Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA batteries. Still the mice steal the bait. Next step: call Agrizap's Technical Support at 888 332-3728.There must be a better solution.I called Agrizap's Technical Support. Suggest screw driver test. With a plastic handled screwdriver, and unit ON, touch the electronic kill plate with the tip of the screw driver and see if the plate is getting a charge. If so, tech support suggests putting a wet paper towel near the entrance to the unit. The nails of the rodent may be too long and too dry to pick up the charge. The wet paper towel will improve electrical conductivity to the rodent. If there is no charge on the kill plate by the screwdriver test, the unit is dead and older one's can no longer be repaired. I put it near the tree where they would come down from the house. I use bread smeared with peanut butter to stick it to the trip plate to help assure it goes off. After catching the first dozen (only maybe 3 were from my house) I was afraid they were returning from my drop off spot about 2 miles away [Nice wooded area with a large pond]. I started spray painting spots on their tails to be sure they weren't being territorial and returning. None have come back.I have now caught 26 and think I have cleared my entire neighborhood of gray squirrels. When I started would catch one per hour, now I leave it for days with nothing and haven't seen any around lately. 44 of 44 people found the following review helpful. Squirrel Nightmare By William Jackson In my experience, once the animal is in your home there is only one way to get it out and that is to catch it. They are extremely persistent. I could not sleep at night and destroyed their nest, but they kept coming back. These are all the things I tried.1. Predator urine repellent - did nothing at all.2. Loud high pitched sounds that only animals can hear - They left when they heard this, but came back and ultimately had no effect.3. Cut down tree branch to roof - They climbed up the chimney.4. Found where they were getting in and patched the hole - They created a hole somewhere else. The worst thing for me was patching the hole, then they got into the walls and started ripping apart the walls. I ended up unpatching my original hole so they could get back into the attic where I could set the trap. This trap is great. Within 24 hours I caught a squirrel. I used real peanut butter (that has oil in it) on both sides of a cracker. It has a strong scent and it sticks to the pan. I recommend testing the trap several times so you know how it works. It is not obvious just by looking at it. Make sure both locks are flipped up so when the doors fall it locks. 59 of 61 people found the following review helpful. a tip to increase your catch rate... By Josh A little bit of advice for folks that are finding the bait gone but the trap was not tripped. If you are using peanut butter put a small amount on top of the bait pan and then smear some on the underside of the pan. The animal will more than likely try to manipulate the pan to reach the peanut butter on the bottom side and the chance of triggering the trap will be greatly increased. This works for those traps that people find less "sensitive" as well. Good Luck! See all 120 customer reviews...

Serra Upon first use of this product, I liked the ease of use and the idea that you don't have to see or touch the varmit after it's caught.I might have given it a low score based on the fact that it wasn't catching anything for the longest time. HOWEVER, I discovered that it was due to my using peanut butter as bait, which I'd read was a good bait to use. Not so in this case. I even discovered mouse turds INSIDE the trap. So he had been in and out of there, and it didn't trigger the mechanism.I changed up the bait to a cotton ball dabbed with real vanilla extract, and a couple days later...VIOLA! caught mouse. Apparently, mice cannot resist the smell of vanilla and like to tug on the cotton ball, thus springing the trap.I am so glad it caught the mouse as it was trashing my kitchen, and hanta virus which comes from exposure to mouse excrement is potentially very dangerous. So try the vanilla extract on a cotton ball and see if that works for your too. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. works as promised By workingmom caught mice couple times already. as advertised - no mess, easy to use, easy to see when trap worked.would recommend to others and would use it againif needed See all 2 customer reviews...
Mice Cube 12 Pack - Reusable Humane Mouse Traps
12 pack Mice Cubes - Safe, Clean, Silent, Reusable - IT WORKS!! The Mice Cube is a molded plastic mousetrap with a door that is free-swinging in an inward direction only. Small holes in the door allow the odor of the bait to escape to attract the mouse. The mouse enters by pushing the light-weight door inward, which then closes by gravity, preventing escape. IT WORKS !! You never have to touch the mouse !! Mice Cubes aren't literally cubes, but rather dark black but somewhat translucent rectangles the size of a butter dish (2"x2"x 5.75"). Directions For Use: 1. To bait trap, spread peanut butter on a cracker and place it at the far end of the trap opposite the door. HINT: To help attract mouse to trap, spread a very thin layer of peanut butter on the swinging door - wipe of any excess so peanut scent remains, and the door swings freely. 2. Place trap along wall or in area where mouse droppings are prevalent. Warning: Check trap once or twice a day, as mouse will expire if left in Mice Cube. 3. To release the mouse, take the Mice Cube outside and turn the trap upside down. The door will open and the mouse can exit. 4. If mouse has expired in trap, you may dispose of it in a refuse container without ever touching the mouse!

Most helpful customer reviews 36 of 36 people found the following review helpful. Not perfect, but still gets 5 stars from me. By Anne I live in a home surrounded by fields and woods; I am never going to eliminate the field mice in my home, all I can hope for is mouse-proofing as much as possible and working toward the goal of moving them out faster than they can get back in. Poison is not an option, don't want it in the food chain and don't want dead mice in my walls. Not going to kill them anyway, just want them to live outside. For years I used the metal cage trap, it is effective, but the smaller mice can squeeze out. Also, they are big and bulky and relatively expensive, so one is my limit.I also have a green plastic house-shaped one. It works well too, but costs 6 to 7 times as much as the little mice cubes. It also is spring loaded, so some of the smaller, lighter mice can sneak in, steal a peanut and leave without triggering the spring. It also requires setting the spring which can be temperamental and basically a pain. I still use it, but it is not my preferred trap.I recently discovered the mice cube and bought 4. They aren't perfect, but they are my favorite.First of all, I have to say, I modified mine before even trying them out. I wasn't satisfied with the air holes, so drilled 6 small holes on the top of the trap near the back end. This turned out to be a multi-functional modification. I just bought 12 more and am about to modify them as well.Turns out that these holes not only give the mouse some air, but also allow me to wash the traps out by setting them upright on the patio and squirting them with a jet stream. The mouse poo floats out of the holes then I set them in the sun for the day to disinfect.I have a one-hand-in-the-glove system for handling the traps safely, while leaving the other hand free to touch door knobs and light switches. I smear a very, very, very thin coat of peanut butter inside the trap then bait it with one peanut, split in half, no muss, no fuss. When the mice come out at night, they start filling the traps. I hear the trap rattle, dump it and replace, often with the same bait. In the morning, I make the rounds, release and clean. Easy peasy.Pros: no springs to set, one-hand operation, cheap, easy to use, effective at containing mouse, small- so they fit into the tight little places the mice go.Cons: they don't come with those magic holes pre-drilled, the plastic is very light-weight and brittle - (I had one crack by the hinge which allowed the mouse to knock the door out and escape, but fixed it with some packing tape)One aside; I was finding that on occasion I would find an empty trap with the bait gone. I could not figure this one out as it seemed impossible for a mouse to get in and out without breaking the trap. I finally saw my answer when I witnessed, not one, but two mice frolicking around a trap last night. The were dancing all over, sniffing at the peanut. Finally, one went into the trap, then the other one pushed his little nose in and let the first one out. I kid you not! I don't know whether they are smart or lucky, but either way, this has not become a common activity. So, at least until they all learn this little trick, I'm sold on these traps. And if they do all learn the trick, I will record and post it on you tube and have my viral moment of fame. 12 of 12 people found the following review helpful. Five Stars 'cause it works but ... By R. Parker I have one of these and it catches at least 2 mice a day - every day - day in and day out. I take them outside, say "Be free, little one!" and off they go - - only to sneak back in to be caught the next day, and the day after that, and the day after that.I'm beginning to feel like I'm running a fast-food joint for mice and the word has gotten out that I serve the best cheese in town. I guess it's a compliment but mice are lousy tippers and what they do leave behind are not tiny quarters, if you know what I mean.Sooo ..... I'm

By Peter Schweikert We seem to have developed a bit of a mouse problem. So, I deployed 6 snap traps and 6 glue traps baited with peanut butter. So far the glue traps have caught 2 mice and the snap traps 1. Furthermore, the bait has been stolen from a couple of snap traps. Yes, the mouse is still alive and struggling when you find them in the glue traps, but the one while a little less vigorous was alive in the snap trap. I put all three of their misery quickly, just tap them on the head with a hammer. Its a quick bloodless way to kill them. Yes, the traps are not humane and they freak out my wife, but mice are filthy vermin and the only effective way to remove them is population control. 17 of 20 people found the following review helpful. Glue traps are great By Al Came home and saw a mouse scurry from the tool stand to a storage cabinet in the garage. I thought, "great, now I have a mouse problem".I put out four glue traps around where I last saw the mouse, and within the space of 4 hours, caught not one, but two mice. No other hits since. These things work great. They remain passive for a long time, yet still work once a mouse runs over them. They also work great for insects like crickets that happend to find their way into your garage. For those of you wringing their hands and bemoaning the fate of these "poor little creatures", get a little backbone, please. Just remember, a pair of mice will become a hundred within a year. The droppings from these "poor sweet things" are going to pollute your home and make you and your kids sick.If you treasure these little critters more than your own children, go right on releasing them outside in your back yard. They will come back, and bring their friends with them. Mice also learn. You won't catch the same mouse the same way again. If you can't stand the sight of them suffering on a glue trap, do the right thing. Kill them outright. Tap them on the head with a stick. Just a slight tap works fine. No need to smash them into goo. A tap on the head crushes their skulls and ends their suffering instantly. If your squeamish, put them in a bag, then tap with a shoe.Save your hand wringing for something worthwhile, like starving kids in 3rd world countries or something. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful. effective By L. Sherman The folks who say that they regret buying these, all I can say is: What in the world were you thinking these would do when you were buying them? They're glue traps for Pete's sake, and as such the mice will stick to them. Did you honestly expect the life would be instantly sucked out of the creature the moment it comes in contact with the adhesive? Use your brain! These do exactly what they were designed to do and that's the reason for the five stars. Are there more humane solutions to eradicating mice? Of course there are, but debating what those would be does not have place in reviews for, nor does it take away from the effectiveness of the product. See all 28 customer reviews...

Thams This product works but when we put these where the mice were and they got into it, you could tell where the mouse has been cause we found blue feces where ever they went and a few times we knew a mouse died between the walls because there was a God awful smell that lasts for months on end. So this is better for outside but not really for inside your house. So if your like me and don't want all that mess try the D-con No View, no touch mouse trap. They work much better and it's quick and easy and doesn't leave a mess. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. D-Con works! By Lisa Kearns We live on a farm and have occasional problems with mice and rats getting into the stored bags of feed in our barn. We've trusted D-Con for decades, and prefer it to some other brands we've tried. These boxes are handy because you just open the indicated end and set the box in the areas where rodents like to go - along the base of walls, in corners, under benches and pallets, etc. No need to touch the poison or sprinkle it around like some of the other brands. What can one really say about rat poison? I like that it quickly kills vermin, which helps stop the spread of the diseases they carry. I like that it keeps rats and mice from tearing holes in our feed bags and wasting the feed. You should be sure that no pets or children can get to the boxes, but otherwise it's easy to use and it works. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. D-Con - Mice be gone By vdecarlo2 The D-Con mouse control packages are well constructed. Instructions are clear with safety as a priority. It only took two boxes to rid my kitchen cabinets of those dirty rascals. Still have pleny of boxes left to use if necessary. It's been a couple weeks, maybe a month, and still no sign of their return. I was worried they may have been curled up in a kichen draw corner but they are simply gone. Not a creature is stirring, not even a mouse... Needless to say, I highly recommend this product and Amazon service can't be beat. See all 6 customer reviews...

By seanyman's mom We purchased the Yard Sentinel to try to protect our Jeep parked in a car port from a pesky robin's continuous attack. We were so tired of cleaning the car up daily and this Yard Sentinel did the trick. I e-mailed their customer service department prior to making the purchase. Michael, their employee, sent me the following information. All of it is 100% true!:"1) The unit is directional. The unit emits an ultrasonic sound only in front of the unit.2) You can use the unit outside by the car port and not bother your indoor cats at all. Leave your cats behind the unit and it won't affect them. Also the frequency is different between robins and cats. You may get the better result with robins by turning the frequency dial all the way counter clockwise to the very left to get the lowest frequency with the unit.3) The batteries will normally last up to one month by using the sensor mode (don't switch to continuous mode if powered by batteries). But it also depends on how many times the unit is being triggered every day.4) Yes, it will work against robins as long as the motion sensor of the unit can be triggered when robins get into the range of the motion sensor."The Yard Sentinel kept the robin away humanely, with the volume control it has never bothered us or our indoor cats, and has proven to be a wonderful purchase. Thank you Yard Sentinel for a great product, sold at an affordable price, with excellent customer service.*Note added 1 month after purchase: Sentinel continues to work on the original batteries. We were able to reduce the sound level because the birds avoid our Jeep now since they seem to know it'll activate the repeller. It works very well. The only thing you have to be sure is that it's placed in a position that can detect movement on all sides of the vehicle. We originally thought about buying another one to have both sides of the Jeep protected. It wasn't necessary, because the birds seem to completely avoid the car port area now. It's been subjected to a month of one of the highest rain falls we've ever historically had, and it keeps repelling away! We're very happy with the purchase, enough so that two of our neighbors bought this too.**Note added three months after purchase: I'm surprised to read the recent negative reviews of this product. It makes me wonder if the settings weren't right for the critters people were trying to scare away or if the placement isn't right to detect them? The frequency setting is very important so it is at the right noise level to scare off a particular pest. Placement is key too. Example: In our car port, we have the sentinel on one of those plastic filing crates, crate inverted, so it can detect motion by the car's mirrors. The side mirrors seems to attract the most amount of attention from the birds. Our batteries last about 40 days. When the batteries run out of juice, the robins poop all over the car again. I replace the batteries and no more mess. We're buying another one today to scare off a chipmunk that is wrecking havoc by our other garage/garden area now. The setting will be different to ward off the chipmunk than it is for the birds. I still remain 100% satisfied with the Yard Sentinel and it has proven to be highly effective, verified by when the batteries are drained, the problem returns. Both of my neighbors continue to use theirs as well with equal effectiveness. 14 of 15 people found the following review helpful. Definitely Recommend By Staci I live in a subdivision with LOTS of cats. I tried everything and couldn't keep them out of my garden. They ruined all my landscaping and kept spraying in my entry way. When I googled "remedies", I saw the Yard Sentinel listed. I was willing to try anything. When I got it, I put some cheap dollar store batteries in it and tried it out. DON'T use cheap batteries! It lasted 2 days. I thought it was broke but

By Frankie Bought a dog silencer from the same company before, and it works, so I decide to try out their indoor repellent to keep bed buds away. I have to say this product works great on repelling bed bugs, now my kids can sleep savely without worrying of getting bitten at night. Also this little device kills bacteria and cleanse the air. My kids loves the night light! Over all great product. 9 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Works! By Mike Sikich I was skeptical at first, but after a few weeks I noticed it was working. I used barriers around the exterior and the interior of the house, but those did not stop the ants from coming up through the cracks in the foundation then up into my cabinets. After a few weeks of having this plugged in, I noticed a few dead ants where I had a habitual problem of them coming in, no matter what I did. Another funny thing I noticed in my garage, and I am not making this up, I watched a few earwigs bounce off the wall when they tried to climb it. They got squashed anyways. I feel kind of bad about this one, but the spiders that would catch the ants for me, have died. Great product. Only thing that is not so bad at all if you can handle it, but really late at night when everything is quiet, you can hear a very very low high pitch noise from it, but only when it is really really quiet. It does not bother the cat one bit. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. No more Rats By Fisher I lived in the woods, and pest problem bothers me a lot, I heard noise at night, I think I got rats living in the attic, so I bought 3 Home Sentinel repeller, I put one in the kitchen, one in the living room, and one in the bedroom. It seems what ever animal is making the noise is gone for good, I am planing to get another one for my garage. See all 27 customer reviews...

Set two traps down and caught two mice the following day. Would recommend to everyone. Easy to dispose. Put traps down again and caught another two. Altogether caught over eight. Never seen anymore but left it down until I close the hole that their coming from. Very effective. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. I've tried them all. This is it. By R. Ness Our family recently moved to a home in the country and soon realized that we had mice. There were lots of signs: droppings, strange odors, torn up tissue paper, etc.I first tried the traditional Victor wooden traps but most often found that the peanut butter bait had been licked clean with no mouse.I tried the electronic box (also Victor) where you electrocute the mouse. That has yielded a few but it's expensive.I tried the glue traps.I tried poison pellets. That probably worked but the only way I know is because I can smell dead mouse/mice in our heat ducts. (Argh!)I even tried the ultrasonic sound plug in/night light. At least that one works as a night light in our garage. Finally, I tried the SNAP-E. I initially purchased one trap and caught 4 critters without ever changing the bait. Wow! Jackpot! In the spring, I will shift my focus to find out where they're getting in but, until then, I've purchased a few more SNAP-E traps and our problem is now manageable. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. AMAZING!!! By Chris So last night I received these two mouse traps from Amazon. After one night and two mouse traps with some peanut butter, I got TWO MICE**!! It was such a great feeling to finally get one after using the crappy victor wooden traps. You will not be dissapointed if you buy these... just put some peanut butter or chocalate in the deep well of the foot pedal and you will be guaranteed to give those clever mice a run for their money.** One actually got snapped on the neck (more humane) the other just sat their and ate the peanut butter off the trap he set off and I was able to catch him with a trash can and set him free outside. So only one mammal died in this adventure...just one.. See all 11 customer reviews...
Yard Sentinel DUAL - Dog Silencer & Animal Pest Repeller
The Yard Sentinel DUAL has taken years for our research and engineering department to develop. But we are finally able to announce the recent breakthrough in the industry with a new multi-functional device that combines the dog silencer with the pest & animal repeller making it the best dog silencer / pest & animal repeller in its market. Unlike any other Dog Silencers who has only either ONE silencing, or ONE sensor and NO pest repelling technology; the Yard Sentinel DUAL offers BOTH silencing and repelling technologies, with Higher adjustable Ultrasonic Frequencies and louder, faster adjustable Intruder Alarm; the Yard Sentinel has successfully made both technologies very effective against silencing dogs and at the same time repelling pests, animals and intruders. On top of that, the new switchable Dog Bark Scanner which has a higher sensitivity / accuracy than most other dog sensors, and the most technically complex Infrared Motion Sensor that is only available in Yard Sentinel DUAL, is fully able to satisfy your need and maximize the full effective range making Yard Sentinel DUAL the obvious better choice to live a bark free and pest free life.

By Mick I spent too long researching a way to quiet a neighbor's overwhelming set of loud dogs. None of the ultrasonic products had clear or very positive reviews. With low expectations but in desperation, I settled on this item to try. It has a lousy manual and the knobs on the back make very little sense, but after some fast phone support from the manufacturer I was able to turn off the lame audible alarm while keeping the bark detector activated. The ultrasonic selector I put in the top range for dogs/cats. I installed it in the attic at the screened gable pointing down at the property line where the dogs liked to congregate. Long story short: transformation. I'm no longer barked at on my own property. I can sleep through the night. One night a dog decided to bark non-stop. It felt like an hour. I went into the attic and discovered that the Sentinel had come unplugged. It seemed as if the dog was looking for feedback. He stopped when I plugged it back in. According to the manual, the device stays on about 12 seconds when triggered. It's a very consistent training tool. Even when neighborhood dogs are barking, my neighbor's dogs stay quiet now. I think it's confusing the owners. The Sentinel seems to have a 30-40ft range of effect, very line-of-sight limited. If you're having any problems with barking dogs, I highly recommend trying this. I might buy another for backup. I am so relieved that I was inspired to write my first Amazon review ever. 5 of 6 people found the following review helpful. Dog trainer! By Frankie I have two puppies and i love everything about them. However they are too energetic and they bark alot, even at nights they bark for hours. Personally I don't mind, but my mother she is 73 years old and needs her sleep. So I bought the Yard Silencer Dual since it can silence mutiple dogs in a very humane way. I know training dogs to be quiet is hard, and it might take awhile, but thier cusomter service was patient and guided me through the steps. Within 3 weeks i've noticed that my dogs bad barking habbits are getting less when I activate the unit at night. Now the dogs are still barking at night occasionally, but I'm fine with the result. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. By techno junkie on limited budget I have the neighbor's cats that use the area under my master bedroom window for their own personal litter box.. It drives me crazy! I put one of these on a 3 foot post under my window and no droppings. The whole wall is now protected. I know it works because the cats now use the other wall that is out of range of the first repeller. Now I bought another one for that wall. It can't come soon enough.Location matters. I first had the unit on a fence in the backyard. It was not proteced by rain or sun. It did not work well there and made a loud noice. Under my window it is protected from the rain and the sun and it work perfectly.Be sure you have it at least 3 feet off the ground and use quality batteries.Pros:Inexpensive and it works to keep cats away!Cons:Uses a lot of batteries. (6 C batteries) 25 of 26 people found the following review helpful. works for us By C. Marin We have an outdoor fishpond and have had problems with raccoons through the years. We can successfully trap them but now that animal control will no longer pick them up, we had to come up with a different solution. I did not expect this device to work, but we've had no raccoons since we set it up near the pond one year ago. We do bring ours into our covered patio area when rain is expected, and we had to change batteries after about 6 months. It's easy to tell if new ones are needed if the red light doesn't turn on when you push the button. By the way, a big dog also works well, but we are dog less now that we travel more. 27 of 29 people found the following review helpful. Worked for a year and started making noise By B. Sperry After a year I have the audible high-pitched sound on mine too and it now makes the device too noisy to operate. I think it has to do with a moisture problems in the unit that occurs after being outdoors in the elements. I looked inside the unit and aside from rust on the battery plates, nothing seems visually degraded. It would be really nice if I could order parts to repair the unit (I'm a techie though). Due to the initial success I am seeking to buy another one, it might be this one, but I'm not sure.Over the last year this animal repeller worked quite well at keeping the mischievous raccoons out of the yard. I bought another one and gave it to a friend with a deer problem as she lives next to parkland and it's hard to tell about the deer that haven't been around as much, but she did say the rats haven't been around her front porch anymore.I don't know how the batteries died in such a short time in the unit Canada, the ones in ours lasted at least 6 months, if not more (perhaps a year?). I'm wondering if keeping the unit out of the rain might help. See all 82 customer reviews...

By Moonie We live in a new construction home that was built next to a huge open field so we have had an uphill battle with mice. We love the Victor mouse traps and have always used those but this winter it got to where we had too many mice to just put out traps. One night I woke up and went to get a drink, turned on the kitchen light and 5 mice scattered! It was so disgusting, I woke up my husband and said we're going to the store and getting something now! I had been hesitant to buy any poisons due to the fact we have two dogs one who is a regular Dora the Explorer and I was afraid they would find it. But it had gotten to the point where the family's safety was at jeopardy with so many mice leaving messes everywhere.By the time we got home from the store we were so tired and hubby convinced me to wait until the morning. So we put the box unopened on a shelf inside a storage closet. The next morning when we went to get the bait the mice had seeked out the box, tore into it, and eaten 3 blocks of bait! WOW! I can't believe how well it worked. So we went ahead and put the bait out where the dogs couldn't get to it. That night we saw our last live mouse. The next morning we found a dead one on our kitchen counter (gross!) and we haven't seen one since! There hasn't been any dead odor either so I'm guessing the product works by making them thirsty then they leave looking for water and die in the field. It has just been a miracle worker for us. We have recommended it to others in our subdivision and it has worked for everyone. Just put out a few new blocks every month and your pesky problem should be gone :) 18 of 19 people found the following review helpful. Use with caution for other animals By Eve F. Spencer Make a rat bait container. Buy large size black PVC pipes about 4" wide(so you can get your hand in to change the bait). Have the hardware store cut each bait tube about 18" long.Drill a hole on one side of the tube towards the center and a hole parallel on the other side so that a long thin metal stake ( used for holding down drip system hoses) or BBQ skewer can be inserted straight through the tube. Thread the stake through one side to the other catching the rat poison bait blocks inside the tube like a shish kabob. This way other animals are less likely to reach into the tube and get it and the rats HAVE TO EAT IT THERE and they can't haul it off to another location that may injure family pets. It's also easy to reload more bait in this tube. 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Kills 'em By thirty1flv It hasn't gotten rid of all of our house mice but I think that's because we haven't found all their entry points and new ones are coming in. I've put this bait out and found green droppings, showing me that they are eating it. I've also opened the garbage once to find that 3 mice had crawled into the kitchen trash to look for food and since they'd just eaten the poison I had behind the trash they were so weak and sick they weren't able to get back out of the trash. It definitely kills them and they will eat it. See all 20 customer reviews...
Victor M692S Sonic PestChaser Wall Unit, Pack of 2
No messy traps to empty, no disease-ridden dead rodents to dispose - this is a safe, economical and effective method of rodent control. The Victor Sonic PestChaser wall unit emits high frequency sound waves that effectively repel rodents from protected areas. For use in average-sized rooms, kitchens, garages, attics and basements.) This single unit plugs directly into the wall outlet. The sound is completely inaudible to people and non-rodent pets. Varying intensity and frequencies of ultrasonic sound waves prevents rodents from getting used to the Victor Sonic PestChaser. Since the sound is inaudible, a red LED light tells you the unit is working properly. It's kinder than mouse traps, safer than poisons, and there are no dead rodents to dispose of so it minimizes human contact with mice, rats, and other disease-bearing rodents. Reduction in rodent activity should occur within 6-10 days. Estimated service life of the unit is 5-7 years or more. Note: Ultrasonic sound cannot penetrate furniture, cabinets or walls. The PestChaser's high-frequency ultrasound doesn't kill rodents, but rather creates an environment that is uncomfortable for them, so they simply leave. After baiting this mouse with poison and peanut butter traps for approximately one month to no avail. I would sit up at night listening to this rodent chewing at my walls just waiting for it to eat its way out! CREEPY!!! I bought 2 packs of the Vicks electronic pest repellers (4 devices total) and within 2 weeks, no more chewing/scratching noises. Thank God----my rodent is gone. I know that the package says that the sound wave do not penetrate the walls, but I believe that they do because my little mouse friend is GONE! I would definitely recommend this product. (NY/NJ) By Luna M Pleasantly surprised - these do really work. We are in an old wooden frame house built in 1842 that has lots of wet wood and holes in the walls, which became overrun with mice during/after Hurricane Irene! Our weather since then has remained rainy and wet and humid which seemed to drive the wildlife-vermin indoors even more.Even worse, these mice showed no fear of me OR my two good mouser-cats (!) and were flagrantly running around on top of and inside and underneath my stove and even running into the small bedroom where we have our "cat gymnasium area" to gnaw thru cardboard & styrofoam,(?) and they left their horrid little disease pellets everywhere. I was sure they were also in the walls, as i could hear them in there, scritching & squealing around. Talk about hard to sleep!I did use a couple of Victor "no-touch, quick-kill" sanitary traps to get rid of a few, but there were so many more showing up, I was getting worried. We also had an indoor-explosion of insect life at that time - caterpillars, carpet beetles, spider beetles and biting black flies!! Then, two big raccoons were trying to get in our windows at night, and my cats were doing their best to fend them off, it was so crazy!I think we may have also had fleas from the mice. I got those under control with learned application of diatomaceous earth, eucalyptus & peppermint oil mists, and steam cleaning/washing everything down afterwards, but the carpet beetles were still everywhere - I'm pretty sure they were here before I moved into this apt/building 13 years ago.)Even tho I know the Sonic repellers claimed to repel insects too, I am a diehard skeptic and really only expected that they would work on the rodents. So, imagine my surprise when I realize about 2 weeks in, that the carpet beetles have disappeared (!!!) as have the 'pillars and spider beetles, and we've had no sign of fleas or bites from anything, flying or otherwise.Mouse-wise, I had what sounded like one lone visitor the other night near the stove, who seemed to leave as soon as they arrived, and no other activity in the weeks since I plugged in the units. Pretty good considering I still cant get back behind the stove to try and stuff the hole they must have been coming thru. (the GAS stove has to be dismantled & taken out entirely in order to get to it ARGH) so this really saved us while we wait till we are able to do that. I should mention I am using these Victor sonic repellers in combination with 3 RIDDEX Sonic repellers that also use the wiring
