Single Speaker Rodent Repeller

Single Speaker Rodent Repeller Safe & Effective Package of 1 Non-toxic AgriZap® Single Speaker Ultrasonic Rodent RepellerTM. broadcasts a highly complex intense sound that creates an environment hostile to rodents. Mice and rats will naturally try to avoid taking up residency and nesting in the affected space. This single speaker rodent repeller broadcasts at a range of approximately 110db measured at 1 meter from the speaker. For use in homes, warehouses, offices, restaurants, garages, farms, ranches. Rodents easily hear the sound generated in rooms up to approximately 800 square feet of unobstructed space. Rodents however, cannot adapt to the complex signal that is constantly changing, which may increase the effectiveness of this pest chaser. Please be aware that the physical properties of ultrasonic sound prevent ultrasonic sound waves from penetrating solid objects like walls and floors. The rodent repeller will not be effective if placed behind furniture. For maximum effectiveness, place one rodent repeller in each room. Ultrasonic waves are highly directional and will bounce off of hard surfaces to fill an enclosed area with high-intensity echoes. Hard surfaces are cement, brick, glass, tile, etc. On the other hand, ultrasound is absorbed and dampened by soft surfaces, such as hay bales, feed sacks, stacked linens, etc. 3-Year mfg. warranty Environmentally safe and silent to humans and pets Operates on average on less than .20 cents/month for 800- 1000 Feet of Space Measures 7.9" x 3.7" x 3.9" Just plug it into any standard outlet Ships Quickly!

Dix [[ASIN:B002763KWU Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller Triple Speaker Commercial Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller Single Speaker Repels Rats and Mice Model Repels Rats and Mice.]] Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller Save with Set of 3. Repels Rodents, Rats and MiceUltrasound is a great alternative to traps and poisons... which only address the problem temporarily and is a short term solution. While the electronic rodent repellers is not a magic bullet, when placed strategically and instructions are followed to reduce existing infestations, one can drive out newcomers from wanting to take up residency in your home, garage, trailer, etc. I learned about this product by searching for Green Pest Control and found them through membership of the US Green Building Council. I had a mouse infestation in our garage. Its was also important to understand how ultrasound works on the rats and mice. Trapping success actually increased (we were able to humanely trap more rodents) once we put the units in... contrary to what was expected. I learned from Innovative that this is because the electronic rodent repeller causes the rat or mouse a great deal of stress, and therefore they are not as trap-wise. Makes sense. After trapping out some of the rodents, the other just left. And with the units in place we have no more infestation. The 3 Pack is a great deal as for me it was good to have 3 units ... 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Does not work By Penmouse I naively purchased this gadget in hopes it would chase my errant house mouse away. It didn't. In fact, the mouse just walked right past the device. It does not work. What did work was the old-fashioned mouse trap which was put underneath the sink by the pest control technician. Do not recommend. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. It doesn't work. So, insulate your walls & buy a mousetrap By Jordan I bought this product after reading quite a few reviews on ultrasonic rodent repellers. A lot of them were mixed, but I wanted to give it a try (it's always better to avoid traps, if possible). So here are my observations: 1) The sound is audibly annoying for humans (not good). We typically plug it in at night in the kitchen so that we don't hear it in our bedroom. 2) We had it on for a week while on while vacation and it failed to repel a mouse which had found its way though a wool steel sealed hole (which also doesn't work according to my experience - mice may not be able to gnaw it, but are able to pull it apart). 3) So what actually did the job was my second line of defense: a good quality mouse trap. I highly recommend Agri Zap RZU001 Rat Zapper Ultration. I bought it just in case because it kills the mouse by electrocuting it so you don't have to mess with blood or look at the casualty. And, this purchase was well worth the money. So, don't bother with the ultrasonic repellers and spend some time insulating your walls or buy a good trap. I hope this helps.
