Mccracken I have tried just about everything for the eradication of voles in my yard with little success until I found out about Just One Bite from a neighbor of mine. I live adjacent to farm fields and voles seem to swarm in, finding my yard a great place to live. They burrow into the ground, surfacing later to devour grass and make tunnels around the yard. I have tried poison grain, traps and other bait with little success. But this stuff works wonders! I have found that the best application procedure is to cut a small portion of bait from the chunk supplied from the manufacturer and drop it down the hole; wait a couple of days, then fill in the hole with dirt. If any vole should survive, it will dig its way out and make itself known. I then reapply another dose and repeat the procedure. I suspect the reason some voles survive is because there may be more than one in the hole and the bait may have been eaten by others--or perhaps I may have missed baiting the hole with so many around. Voles seem to love the corn-based composition of this bait, and the poison supplied therein quickly seems to do the job! Smaller packages of this product can be found in farm supply stores.
